The formation of 30 Park Place

Under the Beeching reform of the Circuits, Newport, which had been part of the Oxford Circuit was added to an expanded Wales & Chester Circuit. Judging that their future prospects would be enhanced by a move to Cardiff the chambers of Mr Charles Pitchford and the chambers of Mr David Glyn Morgan amalgamated and moved from Newport to 55 Park Place, Cardiff in September 1970. It proved a wise decision; 30 Park Place is now the largest chambers in Wales, with members regularly instructed in some of the most high profile and complex litigation in Wales and England, attracting leading talent year on year.
