Josh Scouller secures acquittal in historic sexual assault case

August 26 2021

Josh Scouller secured the acquittal of a man charged with four counts of indecent assault on a child under 13. The alleged offences dated back to the late 1980s when the Defendant was a teenager. The complainant accused him of kissing her and touching her vagina over the course of a number of years. The Defence contended that the incidents had never happened and were fabricated.

The Jury took just less than an hour to return unanimous verdicts of not guilty on all counts.

Josh was instructed by Patrick Meadows of Fonseca Law.
