Megan Jones

Practice Overview

Megan was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2001 and specialises in criminal law.

Megan began her legal career with 2 years in commercial law at Eversheds before taking up a position at Swansea Magistrates Court where she was Legal Advisor for 10 years.

After taking some time out to raise her family, Megan returned to the criminal courts as a prosecutor for Dyfed Powys Police before securing pupillage at a local Chambers in 2021.

Megan accepts briefs to prosecute and defend in such matters such as grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, robbery, arson, fraud and theft, supplying and cultivation of drugs, weapons and firearms offences including illegal importation and sexual offences. Megan is a Level 3 CPS prosecutor.
