His criminal practice encompasses the full range of serious offending such as drug conspiracies, serious violence, firearms, sexual offences, armed robbery, blackmail, murder and manslaughter.

David Pinnell is a specialist criminal law practitioner, with a wide range of experience of the most complex and serious cases. David represents clients in both the Crown Court and at the Court of Appeal. His practice is primarily defence based and his experience enables him to assess cases thoroughly and provide a high quality, specialist service to all his clients.
He draws upon his previous experience as a defence solicitor for 13 years to enable him to readily engage with instructing solicitors and to provide a highly client focussed approach. He has been engaged in defence work for almost 30 years.
David was called to the Bar in 2008.
He is a member of The Criminal Bar Association.
