Practice Overview

Ffion is currently away on sabbatical and is not available to accept instructions.

Ffion joined chambers in 2012 after completing her pupillage with Paul Hartley-Davies and Andrew Jones. Ffion practices in criminal law and is a Category 3 Prosecutor. She accepts instructions to represent both the prosecution and defence in the Youth Magistrates and Crown courts in respect of all criminal matters. 

Ffion is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to conduct cases through the medium of Welsh.

Notable and Reported cases

  • R v OO [2016]

    Defended at trial a man charged with rape and sexual penetration; acquitted.

  • R v MM [2016]

    Defended at trial a man charged with production of indecent images.

  • R v REJ [2016]

    Prosecuted a complex fraud and arson case. Sentenced to 2 ½ years imprisonment

    • Ffion is regularly instructed on behalf of both the prosecution and defence in a range of offences and is a grade 1 member of the Crown Prosecution Service Advocate Panel.
