Tabitha is happy to accept instructions for prosecution and defence work in both the Crown and Magistrates Courts, as well as the Youth Court.
Call 2016
Tabitha joined Chambers as a tenant in June 2022 following pupillage and subsequent employment at the Crown Prosecution Service.
During her pupillage, Tabitha observed and was involved with a variety of cases in both the Crown and Magistrate’s Courts. This included four murder trials (R v MR, R v RB, R v ZR & R v JB) in which she assisted by drafting opening speeches and preparing various hearsay and bad character applications, demonstrating her firm and thorough knowledge of each case. She appeared in committal for sentence hearings for the Crown frequently during her pupillage and this continued when she became a Crown Prosecutor. She has recently begun to build a practice in the Youth Court.
Tabitha previously worked a county court advocate for different agencies representing clients in housing matters and small claims trials in the County Courts across England and Wales.
Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys going to the theatre, as well as singing and playing the saxophone.
