Mark Cotter KC, leading Dan Jones, prosecuted Operation Zetland, a murder investigation that started following a stabbing in broad daylight in Maindee on 14 May 2024.
The prosecution case was based on a painstaking analysis of CCTV (including CCTV of the murder itself) and telephone material. The Defendant, David Sisman, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 24 years’ imprisonment.
