Emma Harris, leading Derek Perry of Albion Chambers, prosecuted Operation Pandora on behalf of CPS Complex Casework Unit. The case is the first in Wales where an individual has been prosecuted for offences relating to the encouragement “swatting” in the USA and UK. Callum Dare was also prosecuted in respect of a complex phishing fraud which targeted darkweb marketplaces. The case was investigated by the FBI, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Tarian.
