Talia Keskin has built a busy multidisciplinary practice, with a focus on family (child care) and immigration law.
She joined 30 Park Place as a tenant in July 2022, following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Claire Williams (Family) and Claire Pickthall (Crime).
Talia is regularly instructed in both public and private law children proceedings, acting for local authorities, parents, and children. Her experience includes cases involving allegations of neglect, emotional and physical harm, domestic abuse, and deprivation of liberty. She is known for her clear and calm advocacy, meticulous preparation, and for putting clients at ease in often difficult and sensitive circumstances.
In 2023, Talia was awarded a Pegasus Scholarship by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, spending three months working within the New Zealand legal system. Her time abroad deepened her interest in the use of minority languages in court, a topic with particular relevance to Wales.
Talia works with the Lord Edmund-Davies Legal Education Trust to encourage young people in Wales from a diverse range of backgrounds to enter the legal profession.
Originally from Cardiff, she attended Whitchurch High School before studying Jurisprudence at Balliol College, Oxford, where she was president of the Law Society (the Younger Society). She completed the BPTC and LLM at Cardiff University, where she was assessed as Outstanding.

She is trusted for her calm, clear advocacy and ability to support clients through complex, sensitive proceedings.
Talia represents clients in a range of immigration and asylum matters. Her work includes appeals before the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. She brings clarity, care, and meticulous preparation to her cases, with a particular interest in access to justice and supporting vulnerable clients through challenging and unfamiliar legal processes.
