Rhodri Jones is a family law barrister with a broad practice covering public and private children matters, as well as financial remedies.

Rhodri joined 30 Park Place in 2020, having undertaken pupillage and early tenancy in Bristol and London. He has gained a broad base of advocacy experience in a variety of courts and tribunals the length and breadth of the country.

Before call to the Bar, Rhodri worked in manufacturing industry and professional services for over 20 years. He draws on this commercial background to offer clients clear, pragmatic advice focused on achieving their best outcome.

Expertise

Cohabitee & Matrimonial Finance

Rhodri has a developing financial remedies practice and is experienced in First Appointments, FDRs and final hearings, including those with cross-border or multi-jurisdictional issues. Fe also provides written advice alongside oral advocacy.

Family & Childcare

In public law proceedings, Rhodri is regularly instructed in multi-day hearings involving allegations of neglect, physical or sexual abuse, and non-accidental injuries. He represents a wide range of clients, including local authorities, parents, grandparents and children, and has appeared at all levels of the Family Court.

Family Dispute Resolution

Rhodri’s private children law practice includes child arrangements hearings and dispute resolution appointments. He is also experienced in multi-day fact finding hearings involving allegations of coercive and/or abusive behaviour and parental alienation.
