Members of the Personal Injury team at Thirty Park Place have been at the forefront of PI law in Wales for the last 30 years. They have appeared in a number of significant cases that have helped shape the law on issues such as; limitation (Donovan v Gwent Toys), employers liability (Larner v British Steel), highways (James v Preselli), defective premises (Adams v Rhymney Valley DC), occupiers liability (Target v Torfaen), civil procedure/reserved judgments (Button v Caerphilly), group litigation (re:Gower Chemicals) and HAVS (Morgan v Corus).

Members of the team regularly receive instructions to act for both Claimants and Defendants from insurers, trade unions, local authorities, large employers, the Police and other public bodies as well as private individuals. Cases can be funded privately, by a CFA, CCFA or pursuant to individually negotiated agreements for bulk work. Some members of the team are also qualified for Direct Access. Once a case is accepted on a CFA by a member of the team, any further work required will be covered by Chambers even when Counsel instructed is unavailable.
