Practice Overview
Rhys is a specialist family law practitioner and Collaborative Lawyer. Rhys undertakes all areas of family work, concentrating mainly upon the financial consequences of relationship breakdown in medium to high net worth families. His practice encompasses a significant amount of civil law disputes between co-owners of land in the family and wider context. Rhys’ dual expertise in civil and family proceedings is of particular value in a dispute engaging both jurisdictions. Rhys also undertakes Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act work, Court of Protection matters and is able to accept Public Access instructions (to include collaborative law, Public Access instructions).
Rhys is a Family Arbitrator. This enables him to provide binding adjudications upon financial remedy, TOLATA and I(PFD) Act claims without the parties having contested court proceedings. Please see article on Family Law Week for more information.
