Practice Overview

Max has a busy family and civil law practice. He has a particular interest in Applications for Financial Remedy (known as Ancillary Relief until 6th April 2011), disputes between cohabitees and applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989. He lectures on a regular basis both in Chambers Family Finance seminars and also for the South Wales regional group of Resolution and the Confederation of South Wales Law Societies.

A Resolution trained Collaborative lawyer Max is qualified to represent divorcing spouses and parents in this new alternative to court. He accepts joint instructions to provide neutral advice either in writing or in a private FDR setting.

Max is also qualified to accept instructions directly from member of the public where appropriate under the Bar Standards Board Public Access Scheme. For further information please enquire with chambers’ clerks
