Practice Overview

Caroline has practised in the area of crime since her year of call in 1994. Her work spans all areas of criminal law and includes both prosecution and defence work. She is a grade 4 prosecutor. Caroline specialises in serious offences including murder, manslaughter and serious sexual offences including offences against children, rape and allegations of historic sexual abuse.

She holds a particular expertise in drafting complex indictments and all aspects of jury advocacy including cases involving young and/or vulnerable witnesses.

Caroline regularly deals with intricate sentencing provisions and ancillary orders applicable to sexual offences.

Caroline is a fluent Welsh speaker and able to conduct cases through the medium of Welsh
